You wouldn’t expect that a guy raised with both Greek and  Italian heritage to become one of Chicago’s Asian food masters, but Chef Rick Spiros has definitely earned his black belt as Owner and Executive Chef of his Zagat-rated and foodie-faved restaurant.  The Bento Box has made its mark as a not-to-be-missed destination for unpretentious yet refined palates who place a value on highest quality ingredients created by a chef with a passion for delivering the gift of a one-of-a-kind flavor experience.   Chef Rick’s made-from-scratch, hand-pounded curries, and his signature dumplings, have earned him a cult following among Asian food aficionados.  In addition to earning rave reviews in publications such as Time Out, Chicago Magazine and Red Eye, The Bento Box was also featured as one of the top restaurants for the food blog “Where Chefs Eat”.
